This is a real beer nerds’ beer-trilogy to get your hands on. The ‘From Yeast to West’ trilogy utilizes a different Yeast on three different batches of the same beer base. With the notion of seeing the effect that the particular Yeast has on the flavour and appearance of that base beer. The base beer style in question is a West Coast IPA hopped with Yakima Chief ‘YCH 701 Trial Idaho 7’ hops. And the three Yeasts in question include:
1. Thiolised Yeast.
2. US 05 Yeast.
3. Kveik Yeast
