Gary Mills has been making wines under his Jamsheed label since 2003. He is working with some pretty darn primo grapes. The wines are single vineyard, from all corners of Victoria.
Beechworth Syrah is grown in the granite soils of Warner Vineyard in Beechworth. The ferments contain whole bunches, so left with stems during this process. From this process, we're expecting a more rustic style wine; herbal and woody, with a great tannic structure to frame it. Pick some up today to lay down in the cellar.
Roussanne is another variety from the same vineyard as the Syrah. Like the Syrah, this has been a wine that has always been a hallmark of Jamsheed. The wild ferments and lees contact marry in so well with this textured variety.
Flor de Corazón is here in MAGNUMS - but not the kind you forget about in the cellar for 20 years. This delicious red blend is for the next time you have friends around, and one bottle is just not going to be enough. Be honest from the start and just crack open this fresh little number.
