Can drinking beer have a positive impact on our community? Many would say a resounding NO! A group of young friends from Melbourne are trying to change that, one beer at a time. Established in 2019 Local Brewing co. teamed up with SecondBite, an organisation that rescues food that would be otherwise wasted and redirects it to needy Australians.
So far Local Brewing has been able to donate tens of thousands of meals to people who need them. Doesn't that leave a great taste in your mouth? The fact the beers are awesome and at $5-$6 are some of the lowest priced brews in the shop makes it even easier to do your bit.
