As you all know, we are huge supporters of Orange region Pinot Noir – but it’s safe to say that we also have a soft spot for Tassie Pinot.
The Apple Isle is primed for producing great Pinot Noir with its cool maritime climate enabling a slow ripening season (similar to Orange), ensuring that the grapes maintains exceptional quality. Pair that with world class viticulturalists and winemakers, and you can begin to see why Tassie Pinot has such a great international reputation.
New wines include Moores Hill from Tamar Valley, the ‘Holyman’ collection from Stoney Rise, and the Barringwood Estate Pinot. These join some favourites such as Dr Edge, Sailor Seeks Horse and Dalrymple amongst others.
