Natillie Johnson is Yarra Valley born and bred. Winemaker, and now viticulturist, she is taking the industry by storm. Starting at Coldstream in the cellar door, she's since done vintages at Leeuwin Estates, Young Guns listed her as one of the Top Winemakers, making finalist in 2021.
This vintage, her wines have gone strength to strength with low yields but high quality in the Yarra Valley Chardonnay.
Grenache has been a new project in the works for Tillie. It came about with Project #5255 - an initiative that promotes Langhorne Creek wine industry by inviting 3 winemakers from other regions to 2 tonnes of premium fruit. It was made with whole bunches, so she's a spicy little number.
The thing we love most about these wines is that Natillie just makes wine that she wants to drink.
