What an absolute banger of a collaboration beer that we have just received. Mountain Culture meets Wildflower with this one year old oaked aged wild ale. Fermented without the addition of commercial yeast, it has instead used an open fermenter to draw in the wild yeasts high atop in the heritage listed area of the Blue Mountains.
The result, a complex yet soft citrusy palate laden with fruity, estery aromas and oak notes. Drinking sensationally now – but will benefit from careful cellaring.
