Like choosing between a favourite child, both Beer and Wine equally hold a special place in our hearts (and tastebuds). But when a marriage of those two happens you just know we're all for it.
Even more so when the likes of Akasha Brewing Co (Sydney) team up with Robert Stein Winery (Mudgee) and New England Brewing Co (Uralla) team up with Topper’s Mountain Wines (Tingha) to bring us a co-fermented drinks extravaganza.
The former saw Akasha trek out to Robert Stein Winery to secure the perfectly ripened grapes of one of Mudgee’s finest. That juice was then returned to their Brewery in Five Dock to undergo a co-ferment with their iconic Akasha beer base to create a tasty Grape Pale Ale.
The latter saw the coming together of two of New England region's most revered producers. We’re talking the unique terroir of Topper’s combined with the Farmhouse Ale of the New England Brewing to create something that can only be known as ‘Saison Dy Sauvy’.
