Angullong 'Fossil Hill' Shiraz Viognier
This blend originates in the Côte-Rotie appellation of the northern Rhône Valley in France. A small component of Viognier is added to the Shiraz in order to heighten the aromas of the wine. In our Angullong ‘Fossil Hill’ Shiraz Viognier, we only add 2 or 3% Viognier which is co-fermented. The result is a wine with lovely lifted artomas of spice, pepper and forest berries. There are layers of flavour with balanced oak nuances and dusty tannins which will integrate with time in the cellar.
