The fruit for this wine was hand-picked in perfect condition in the warm, dry autumn of 2016. After fermentation the wine was aged in mostly seasoned barrels, with just a little new French oak. Fruit and oak are already in harmony on the nose. Vibrant flavours of grapefruit and white peach lead on the full-flavoured palate, the oak playing second fiddle. Our cool site leaves its mark on the finish which is fine and long.
