First Ridge Montepulciano

Powerful aromas of dark cherries, mulberries and blackberries with an earthy twang. Sweet oriental spices form an exotic background. The palate is true to the variety, its chewy and chunky with upfront black-fruited flavours that echo the nose and a raft of decisive tannins to mould the finish. Aerate for an hour or two to maximise the pleasure of this strident red wine.
