2020 Vintage 93 Points "The Hughes & Hughes Riesling has a nose as fresh as the feeling of plunging your feet into a cool stream on a hot day. Fresh lemons, river stones, crunchy green apples, white blossoms and freshly mowed lawns abound on the nose. There is a hint of residual sweetness that is balanced with refreshing acidity and a rich texture that comes from a little time on skins, barrel fermentation, wild yeast fermentation and the wine being bottled without fining and filtering. The juiciness in the fruits is carried along to the palate making this a complex and very drinkable wine.
