Jones 'J6' Muscat Sec

The J6 range of wines has been created by the 6th Generation of the Jones family who have owned and operated Jones Winery & Vineyard for over 90 years. They are millennial ‘style-twists’ of the traditional, estate grown varieties.

The is deliciously fresh, dry white wine with an evocative mix of musk and rose-petals on the nose, with a lingering fruity ‘tingle’ on the palate and a crisp dry finish.

Made from Rutherglen Brown Muscat that was picked early to create a “Muscadet sur lie” style wine.  Picked on 22nd February at just 13.0 potential alcohol, the grapes were pressed immediately, and the juice separated to minimise colour pick up from the skins. The juice was fermented at low temperature and then matured in tank with lees stirring in the true classic “Muscadet sur lies” style.
