Linear Gruner Veltliner
The vineyard site sits at 625m altitude. HHWAI-3 clone was grafted on to existing Sauvignon Blanc vines in 2016. The cool climate region provides warm days and cool nights during the ripening period.
Hand harvested fruit in the early morning, immediately whole bunch pressed into stainless steel cooled to 4 degrees and racked from heavy lees, natural yeast, fermented at 17c, minimal sulphur added.
Grüner Veltliner showing notes fresh cut green apple, hint of citrus zest. Fine yet supple texture with racy acidity that lends grippy minerality on the finish.
