91 Points "Acidity rushes through the palate but then there’s a chalkiness to the texture, the perfect complement. It tastes essentially of nashi pear with maybe red apple and citrus blossom rolled through. It feels composed and complete; it’s lively but not nervy. In fact for all its freshness and energy it’s the sense of composure that perhaps most defines it. Like this." The Winefront, Campbell Mattinson
The variety is noted for its ability to thrive in hot, dry conditions. Arinto is one of the few white varieties that can maintain its natural acidity during long hot summers resulting in beautifully fresh and vibrant wines. Lifted citrus fruits and a hint of nashi pear with a fantastic natural acid backbone.
