95 Points "Good depth of red-purple colour, bright and intense right to the edge; the bouquet is fresh and bright, red and darker cherry and mixed spice with pepper and clove to the fore, dried meat/bresaola too, dark berries and a hint of whole-bunch imparting a trace of Campari. The wine is full-bodied but nicely controlled, not a blockbuster, the tannins ample but fine and supple, the flavour quite layered already. There's a lovely core of sweetly ripe fruit surrounded by serious tannins and a lasting savouriness. Gorgeous wine" Huon Hooke
