A near perfect growing season produced excellent fruit across all varieties. A cold dry winter followed by a relatively dry summer saw crop levels lower than normal, but the quality of the fruit taken from a selection of Mudgee Region vineyards was high.
With the 2018 Third Generation we have taken a sight change in direction with the style. This year we used more traditional methods, giving the wine a little more time in oak, but still keeping it as a fresh modern lighter style. Stone fruits, citrus, melon are followed by the subtle richness of the oak and a clean crisp finish.
