93 Points "Syrah from one of (if not the) the premier producers of the Rutherglen region. This is from the Terravinia vineyard, Scion’s second site. 15% whole bunches, 50% whole berries, small open fermenters, “not plunged much”. Basket pressed, 15% new oak, no fining.
So much freshness. Such fine grain to the tannin. Cherry-berried flavours with licks of coffee, sweet spice, earth and malt.
