Stockman's Ridge Signature 'Left Bank' Cabernet Merlot

"As the name suggests, this Signature Left Bank is vigneron Jonathan Hambrook’s tribute to the French inspiration for the wines. The Left Bank is a nod to the Médoc region of Bordeaux and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot 60/40. Give this some time and you'll be rewarded deluxe. Blackcurrants, blackberries and leather get things on the move. Stewed plums kick around in the background flanked by fabulous savoury highlights of bay leaf, black olive and dried sage. Tight, time in the glass (but more particularly the second day of tasting) allows it to relax and flow more freely. A lithe mintiness rises up late on a long, moreish finish.
