Vignerons Schmölzer & Brown Beechworth Nebbiolo

Engaging pale ruby hue drives aromas a multitude of aromas.  Fresh cut lilac, rose petal sit alongside wild fennel and thyme. Savoury notes of charcuterie (fennel salami), earth and mushroom skin deliver and edgy note to the wine. Whilst it should be said, nebbiolo’s hallmark red/sour cherries show as the main star to the wine.

On the palate dried cranberry and tart raspberry compliment sour morello cherry, and freshly pressed thyme. Chalky, claypot like tannins are complimented by cranberry juice adjacent acidity providing generous continuation long after the wine has been slurped down.
