'A blend of 60/20/20% shiraz/touriga nacional/tinta cão. Matured in older French oak. The only two golds in Class 10 – Other Red Blends at last year's Yarra Valley Wine Show were this and the Dry Red No. 3, with this wine edging out its stablemate for the trophy! A very bright crimson. A fresh and complex combination of blackberries, cherries and crushed violets aplenty. Persistent and primary on the palate with serious yet fine-grained tannins. Long. Lovely.
